Offshore Trainers x 4

Salary: Up to $1,000 per day
Rotation: 28/28
Location: Offshore, Qatar
Contract Length: Minimum 2 years, will most likely extend further

Visa: - Unfortunately due to visa and contractual constraints we can only consider Western nationalities for this contract.

The Offshore Trainer will be working with our client offshore operations in Qatar. Our client are a global leading Oil and Gas production company, with worldwide projects. The Offshore Trainer will be responsible for assisting the Offshore leadership teams in ensuring training and development of offshore personnel, is conducted in a structured, aligned and efficient manner which enables that the overall objective of ensuring the right competency level of the employees to maintain an safe and efficient operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
-Ensure that the structured competency matrix and training program is being adhered too.
-Specific trainings programs is being developed, implemented and documented as requested by the offshore leadership teams.
-Assist the offshore supervisors (maintenance, production constrictions , NDT and deck) in assessing their employees (analyze competence and skills gap in their workforce) and give input to individual training needs).
-Ensure that all training and assessment data are documented and filed - in accordance with the Competency Assurance Procedure.
-In close corporation with Operation support - Training department update and maintain offshore competency matrix for all disciplines. Progress reporting system to be established and maintained.
-Assist offshore supervisors to carry out specific training sessions, campaigns, and assessment of individual competencies as requested.
-A practical approach with main focus "on the job training and best offshore practices" is necessary as this is the dominant part of the MOQ training philosophy.
-Provide input to recruitment process of contractor (technicians and deck crew) to ensure competencies of new employees.
-Act as the offshore focal in ensuring job descriptions are current and aligned with training and competency matrices.
-Act as mentor/coach for our Qatari trainees under Q.P. workplace learning program. Ensure that their individual Training Record Book and WPL workbook is being kept updated on a daily basis.

To be considered for this opportunity you will be able to demonstrate experience with the following:

-2 - 4 years experience as trainer.
-A detailed knowledge of offshore operations and best practices will be an advantage.
-Fluency in English (full mastery in both written and verbal English skills).
-Flexible, have a good overview, strong communication skills.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- A1 Assessor
-Engineer or offshore operator with relevant experience from similar positions.
