Role Overview: The purpose of the role is to provide detailed
analysis and review of dynamic positioning vessels and offshore
systems.
Duration: Ongoing
Basis: Staff, Contract considered
Indicative Salary: Negotiable commensurate with candidate
profile
Role Activities:
The key dimensions of the role include:
• Provide detailed FMEA and FMECA analysis
• Conduct DP FMEA and FMECA proving trials and witness
offshore
• Conduct DP assurance audits and CMID surveys
• Conduct DP vessel suitability and upgrade surveys
• Undertake risk studies including HAZID, HAZOP and FMEA
• Project management of DP marine projects
• Prepare proposals for bids and tenders
• Liaise with clients to ensure project completion and customer
satisfaction
• Provide mentoring and coaching to graduates and team
members
Qualifications & Experience:
The successful candidate will hold the following skills and
qualifications:
• A degree qualification in marine engineering, or equivalent
• A qualified Chief Engineer
• Seagoing experience on board DP2/DP3 platform supply vessels
is desirable
