2nd Cook

About the 2nd Cook Position
Food preparation as directed by the Chief Cook and ensure that galley personnel and food preparation meet hygiene requirements; Ensuring that his daily activities and the activities of the galley crew are carried out in a safe and healthy manner and that the impact of such activities on the environment is within acceptable limits.

Requirements
You MUST be a US Citizen or a permanent resident of the United States. Professional education as Cook/Baker. Food handling and hygiene course. Minimum 1 year experience as Chief Cook or First Cook onboard a vessel with a large crew compliment / passengers. Able to speak and understand English. Additional requirements as contained in the Vessel Qualifications Matrix appropriate to each vessel.

Required Safety / Trade Certifications:


* STCW-95 Basic Training
* Valid Passport
* Transportation Worker Identification Credential
* Safe Gulf / Rig Pass Training
* HUET
